WellChild supports sick children and their families across the UK. WellChild Children’s Nurses give care and support to chronically sick children living at home. WellChild Helpline and Information Service offers confidential advice and information about children’s health (helpline@wellchild.org.uk). Our research nurses and doctors work in hospitals across the UK to develop better treatments and cures for childhood illness and disease.

HELP RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD A NEW SCOUT HEADQUARTERS SEVERLY DAMAGED IN LAST YEAR'S STORMS

We are currently raising funds to build a new Scout headquarters to replace the one that was severly damaged in last years storms making it unfit to use, we have raised about £40,000 towards the final cost of about £120,000, the old building has now been demolished ready to make a start on the new unit as and when sufficient funds are available. our web site is http://www.3rdgeecrossscouts.btik.com/ where you can see more of who we are and what we are trying to achieve.The more that can see our plight the more chance we have of reaching our goal, when complete the building can and will be available for the use of the wider community; mums & tots, judo, art classes etc. They would help to offset the running cost making scouting affordable for all that want to support and benefit from it.

RAISING FUNDS FOR CHILDREN IN RAJASTAN

I am interested in raising funds, for a school project I am doing. The project is to go to Rajastan in india and help children an people that are generally less fortunate than we are. The project costs £900 but I am only supposed to earn one third of that being £300. I am hoping to raise more than that so buy gifts and essentials for the people of Rajastan which my colleagues did last year.
